Statutory Compliance Executive

**Position Overview**: As a Statutory Compliance Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure adherence to legal obligations. Your attention to detail, knowledge of applicable laws, and ability to analyze complex information will be vital in maintaining the company's compliance framework.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements at local, state, and national levels.
- Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations that impact the organization and communicate these changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and systems to effectively manage and mitigate compliance risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish compliance guidelines and provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Prepare and submit statutory reports, returns, and filings within the stipulated timelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to compliance activities.
- Conduct internal training sessions and awareness programs to educate employees on compliance requirements.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary information and supporting documentation.
- Investigate and address compliance-related issues, including complaints and violations, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel, regulatory bodies, and authorities as required.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices related to compliance and recommend enhancements to existing processes.
- Collaborate with the legal department to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and mitigate legal risks.
- Participate in compliance-related projects, initiatives, and process improvements.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or a related field. A postgraduate degree or certification in compliance is preferred.
- Proven experience of 2 years working in a similar role, preferably in a regulated industry.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal information.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in using compliance management software and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with conducting compliance audits and investigations.
- Ethical mindset with a commitment to upholding integrity and confidentiality.

As a Statutory Compliance Executive, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the organization's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Your expertise and proactive approach will contribute to maintaining a strong compliance culture within the company.

**Salary**: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
