**Job Summary**:
The PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) in English is responsible for teaching English language and literature to senior secondary students. The role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering language proficiency, and developing students' analytical and communication skills. The teacher plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ appreciation of literature while improving their reading, writing, and speaking abilities.

**Key Responsibilities:Teaching and Curriculum Development**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and educational standards.
- Teach advanced English grammar, composition, reading comprehension, and literature effectively.
- Use diverse instructional strategies to enhance language learning and literary appreciation.
- Encourage critical thinking and discussion on literary themes and language structures.
- Incorporate technology and modern teaching methodologies into the classroom.

**Student Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Conduct regular assessments, quizzes, and examinations to gauge student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and assist students in improving their reading and writing skills.
- Maintain student records, including grades, attendance, and performance reports.

**Classroom Management**:

- Create an engaging and disciplined learning environment.
- Address behavioral issues effectively while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
- Motivate students to develop a love for literature and language learning.

**Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular Activities**:

- Organize literary events, debates, speech competitions, and creative writing activities.
- Encourage students to participate in drama, poetry recitation, and public speaking forums.

**Parental and Administrative Communication**:

- Communicate with parents about student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to enhance the English curriculum.

**Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with new teaching methods, language learning techniques, and literary trends.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and faculty meetings to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
