About the Position:
A Saathi works with:

- Educational Institutes: to ensure they fulfill the guidelines issued by scholarship providers -NGOs: to identify students & institutes requiring help with scholarships.

Overview:

- Salary: ₹ 12,000 to ₹ 15,000 per month, commensurate with experience and skills
- Probation: Three months
- Office Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Reporting To: Program Associate
- Location: Danta
- Rajasthan, Behror
- Rajasthan, Patna
- Bihar and Derabassi
- Punjab
- Travel: Field visits to schools/colleges and communities

Key responsibilities:
As Scholar Sathi is the face of the organization vis-à-vis students and government officials, s/he must have good etiquette and a growth mindset to deal with their queries. They are expected to take up the following responsibilities:
Stakeholder Coordination: Ensure the maximum number of scholarships for eligible students
- Identify students’ need and their financial hindrances to continue higher education.
- Find potential scholars and provide them with handholding support and make case studies.
- Identify and impanel educational institutions and community stakeholders.

Scholarships Management:

- Create, maintain & and regularly update the database of the scholarships.
- Match the details of the eligible applicants on the basis of the prepared database and scholarship criteria.

Tele-counselling:
Data Processing
- Maintains records of all documents shared by students, institutes, and other stakeholders.
- Review data for errors, and missing information and resolve any discrepancies.
- Verifies the data by comparing it to official documents.
- Transcribes source data into the required format, as and when required.
- Maintains privacy of all information shared by our stakeholders.

Branding and Promotion:

- Poster, Banner, and leaflets distributions during community engagement
- Publish news in print/online media
- Conduct scholarship disbursement events in community and institutions

Reporting:

- Completes their target daily
- Raises challenges and best practices as and when required.
- Maintains a filing system and information

Desired Profile:

- Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, MS PPT, and Google Spreadsheets etc.)
- Good verbal & written communication in Hindi, English, Marathi
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
