Sales Executive

**Position Overview**:
As a Sales Executive for building materials in Kerala, India, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers in the real estate and construction industry. Your primary objective will be to promote and sell the company's range of Tiles and Paving materials to architects, contractors, builders, and other relevant stakeholders. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of the Real Estate, Builders, Public Works and Construction market in Kerala.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sales and Business Development:

- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve targets and revenue goals.
- Identify potential customers and generate leads through market research, networking, and cold-calling.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Customer Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate building materials solutions.
- Maintain collections / work on ZERO Credit models
- Conduct regular visits to customers, construction sites, and relevant events within the designated sales territory.
- Market Intelligence:

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors' activities, and market developments.
- Gather feedback from customers to identify areas for product improvement and innovation.
- Understand the pricing and rebates in the market to improve margins and market penetration
- Sales Planning and Reporting:

- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic reports on sales performance.
- Monitor sales data, analyze results, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Product Knowledge:

- Articulate product benefits and differentiators to potential customers effectively.
- Collaboration and Coordination:

- Coordinate with the internal team to support promotional activities and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Negotiations and Contracts:

- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to secure profitable deals.
- Prepare sales contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the building materials industry.
- Knowledge of the construction market, key players, and industry dynamics in Kerala.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
