**As a NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to newborn infants who are premature, critically ill, or otherwise requiring intensive medical attention. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care and support for these vulnerable patients and their families.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing treatments as prescribed.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of neonates’ health status, monitor their progress, and promptly report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Work closely with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
- Educate and support parents and family members on neonatal care practices, provide emotional support, and involve them in the care of their infants whenever possible.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors in the NICU.
- Stay updated on advancements in neonatal nursing practices and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills.
