**Job Title: College Librarian - Nursing College**

**Overview**:
As a College Librarian, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and research needs of students, faculty, and staff within the nursing department. Your responsibilities will include managing the nursing library resources, providing research assistance, and promoting information literacy skills among students. The College Librarian for Nursing college will collaborate with faculty to ensure the library aligns with the curriculum and research goals of the nursing department.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Collection Development**:

- Evaluate, select, and acquire nursing-related materials, including books, journals, databases, and multimedia resources.
- Keep abreast of current trends in nursing education, research, and practice to enhance the relevance of the library collection.
- **Resource Management**:

- Organize and maintain the nursing library resources efficiently, ensuring accessibility and ease of use for students and faculty.
- Implement and manage library systems, databases, and technologies specific to nursing education.
- **Reference Services**:

- Provide research assistance to nursing students and faculty, including guidance on literature searches, citation styles, and information retrieval.
- Collaborate with faculty to design and deliver information literacy instruction tailored to nursing programs.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with nursing faculty to integrate information literacy skills into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with other librarians and academic departments to support interdisciplinary research and learning.
- **Instruction and Workshops**:

- Conduct workshops and training sessions on library resources, research skills, and information literacy relevant to nursing programs.
- Develop instructional materials and guides specific to nursing research methodologies.
- **Outreach and Promotion**:

- Promote library services and resources to nursing students and faculty through outreach initiatives, orientations, and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to create awareness about library services.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Participate in ongoing assessment and evaluation of library services to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with the needs of nursing programs.
- Collect feedback from students and faculty to make informed improvements to library services.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay informed about developments in librarianship, nursing education, and information technologies through continued professional development.

**Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in Library Science or a related field.
- 3-5 Year of experience in related field.
- Strong knowledge of library systems, databases, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with faculty and other stakeholders in an academic setting.
- Commitment to promoting information literacy and supporting the academic success of nursing students.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
