**Associate Dean**:
Sharda University, established through an Act of U.P. Legislature (14 of 2009);
empowered under section 22 and registered under 2 f of UGC Act, 1956. The

university offers more than 100 programs through 14 schools and 23

Departments, including Masters, Integrated and Doctoral programs in almost all

disciplines of pure & applied sciences, engineering & technology, management,

social sciences & humanities, architecture, law agriculture, education, media,

film & entertainment, nursing, pharmacy, allied health sciences, dentistry and

medical sciences. The University has close to 13000 students on its roll, out of

whom approx. 14% are international students belonging to 65+ countries.

**Brief Description of the position**: The Associate Dean is an academic and/or

administrative officer who reports to the Dean of the Respective School. S/he

supports the teaching, research, accreditation and service mission of the

University by discharging responsibilities in on or more areas as defined by the

respective Dean. S/he ensures that appropriate strategies and polices are in

place to enable the Faculty to promote critical thinking besides academically

rigorous learning environment for the student community. S/he will undertake

any other activities assigned from time to time by the Vice-Chancellor, Pro -Vice
- Chancellor or the respective Dean.

**Experience**: Minimum 10 years as a Professor.

**Qualification**: Ph.D. and First class Master’s degree in relevant discipline from

reputed Institution.

**School of Engineering & Technology**:The School of Engineering Technology

is comprised of five departments - Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer

Science & Engineering, Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering and

Mechanical Engineering. Each department offers undergraduate, postgraduate &
PhD programs and is also running different domain-specific specialized programs

to fulfil the needs of skilled professionals as per market demand.

**School of Business Studies**:The School of Business Studies (SBS) preparing

the students in the area of Economics & International Business, Finance, General

Management, Human Resource & Organizational Behaviour, Marketing,

Operation Management & Supply Chain Management, Information Technology &
Business Analytics. Each department offers undergraduate, postgraduate & PhD

programs.

**School of Architecture & Planning**:The School of Architecture & Planning

(SAP) is offering its undergraduate, postgraduate & PhD programs in

Architecture & Design.

**School of Media, Film and Entertainment**:SMFE offers BJMC, Integrated BA
