CCAR Analytics and Modelling team provides support to various business groups in the areas of Stress Test Model development, business strategy implementation, reporting and data management, along with driving key transformation initiatives. It forms the information basis for strategic planning by senior management for businesses and enables effective decision making to satisfy business needs and regulatory requirements.
The position will report into Vice President, CCAR Modeling and will be involved in model development, calibration, documentation and validation support as well as the execution of models i.e. Scenario Analytics and Modelling, translation of model outcomes into portfolio metrics

**The Opportunity**:

- Supporting the Global Stress Testing modelling team whose purpose is to support the bank’s Global Stress Testing program.
- Leading the end-to-end modeling life-cycle for a suite of Stress test (CCAR, PRA etc.) and PPNR models, along with supporting regulatory stress test submissions for a range of portfolios.
- Support model governance and ensure compliance with external regulation and internal governance processes
- Supporting transformation initiatives through development and deployment of technology based solutions using Big Data, Cloud, NLP, Python etc. to continuously improve the Stress Testing process

**What you’ll do**:
**Principal Accountabilities KPI and Targets**

**Impact on the business**
- Supporting the Strategic Planning and Stress Testing team in developing best in class statistical/analytical/ML models and deploying these across various products & portfolios for internal and regulatory stress testing programs
- Hands-on involvement across the various stages of modeling life cycle like defining model scope to model development, validation, testing, documentation, scenario analysis etc.
- Translate model outputs into forecasted business outcomes and explain them to business stakeholders
- Providing analytical solutions by drawing linkages between model outcomes, portfolio specific nuances and internal and external regulations
- Supporting development and deployment of new tools and modelling techniques - Python, R, Machine Learning solutions, cloud (preferred) to live business problems on a day-to-day basis.
- Drive business benefits through self-initiated projects. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in modeling. Ability to work hands-on on analysis, projects and coach peer/ junior analysts on technical (SAS, Python, R, excel, data understanding, modelling techniques) and/or functional areas.
- Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls
- Stay on top of changing regulatory needs, reporting standards and understand their impact on the models
- Manage a team that aspires to deliver high-impact data science and analytics solutions, along with actively managing the team’s workload ensuring that prioritization of activities is established with stakeholders
- Work with multiple stakeholders/functions on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver in a timely, efficient and effective manner, while understanding the overall objective.
- Recruit, on-board, train, coach, develop talent and proactively retain high performing team members.
- Manage relationship with key stakeholders in the Business (Onshore and Offshore) to build confidence in team, facilitate migration of additional responsibilities to team and enable stakeholder’s investment in development of the team

- Continuous review of process with the objective of improving the resource utilization, time taken and quality of deliverables
- Ideate, develop & deploy operational efficiency enhancing solutions using new tools, techniques and technology
