Job Title: General Accounting Office Associate

Green Cube Recycling Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a General Accounting Office Associate. The General Accounting Office Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the overall financial operations of our organization. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The General Accounting Office Associate will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Assist with the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

2. Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization, and perform data entry into the accounting system.

3. Prepare and issue customer invoices, reconcile GST transactions, prepare E-Way Bills, track accounts receivable, and follow up on outstanding payments.

4. Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

5. Maintain and update accounting records, including entering financial transactions into the general ledger and maintaining supporting documentation.

6. Assist in preparing financial reports, such as monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

7. Assist with payroll processing, including timekeeping, data entry, and employee record maintenance.

8. Assist with the preparation of various tax filings and compliance requirements.

9. Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and support auditors during financial audits.

10. Support the accounting team in ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.

**Requirements**:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus.

2. Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably as an accounting Associate or similar position.

3. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record maintenance.

6. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

8. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

9. Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.

10. Ethical and trustworthy with confidential financial information.
