**Job Title: Store Assistant**

**Job Overview**:
As a Store Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, maintaining inventory levels, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the store. You will work closely with the store manager and other team members to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**: Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or answering their inquiries. Provide product information, recommendations, and assistance with purchases. Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to the store manager when necessary.
- **Inventory Management**: Receive, unpack, and label merchandise shipments. Check incoming stock against purchase orders and ensure accuracy. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves and displays. Conduct periodic stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- **Merchandising**: Arrange and display merchandise in an attractive and organized manner to optimize sales and customer experience. Ensure that products are properly labeled, priced, and promoted according to store guidelines. Implement visual merchandising strategies to showcase featured products and promotions.
- **Cleaning and Maintenance**: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store, including aisles, shelves, and checkout areas. Ensure that the store premises meet health and safety standards at all times. Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to store policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding safety, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Follow company protocols for handling and storing merchandise, as well as cash handling procedures.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
