As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will interface with the customer's IT staff on a regular basis. Either at the client's site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You should be highly experienced in some Oracle products and several platforms that are being supported. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status.

- Languages : Basic knowledge of **SQL **, PL/SQL, Batch Scripting, Unix Shell Scripting
- RDBMS : Oracle/SQL Server
- Applications Servers : Siebel on Windows Mandatory
- Good to have exposure on Unix platform optional

**Personal specification**

**Knowledge / experience**

**Mandatory**:

- Manage and monitor project environments (several environments from development to UAT)
- Performs administration tasks (jobs administration, users administration, troubleshooting, components monitoring, setup environments, etc.)
- Performs configuration, change management and maintain environments in operational condition
- Participate to full architecture design, implementation and enhancement
- Participate with the Technical Architect during project design stage to consult on technology changes that will impact work processes (for business users) and architecture/environment changes
- Participate with Technical Architect, DBAs and development team in defining and validate user requirements (technical), coordinating system updates, installing upgrades and patches
- Single Sign On
- Configuring & managing Workflow Management component group. Create WF monitor agents as per requirement
- Proactively identifying the issues (specially related to performance) and providing the necessary solutions.
- Co-Ordination with Network/Computer Management/ Database Administration team for Connectivity, Patch Update, Upgrade and Data backup activities.
- Status update to the stakeholders on the Siebel and Application Performance and Monitoring.
- Working Knowledge of any Cloud (AWS\MS Azure\OCI)
- Installing and configuring BIP server/Need to have a thorough understating of security and performance aspects related to Siebel Server configurations Understanding of BIP server management.
- Good written and oral communication skills (English required).
- Good interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

**Educational Requirements**

**Mandatory**:

- B.E./ B.Tech or MCA in Computers/ Information Technology or related discipline
- Good to have Siebel Certification in Siebel 8.0/8.1
