JOB DESCRIPTION Post: Transportation Supervisor ( Wardha Campus )
- **Qualification : Graduate and above**:

- **Experience: Min. 05 years & above With technical knowlage in vehicle maintenance and Good in MS Exel

- DEFINITION Under the supervision of the Director of People & Planning DMIMS (DU), supervises the daily activities of the transportation department as per the below mentioned details. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS.
- Supervise and evaluate all transportation systems of the DMIMS./ Vendor
- Provide long-range planning for dedicated and schedule transportation trips.
- Maintain Accuracy in schedule departure & arrival & Verify the actual run kilometers.
- Participate in the development of time and require work in major vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Determine the appropriateness of vehicle service requests and authorize work to be completed.
- Establish standards of maintenance and preventative maintenance for department’s vehicles.
- Planning for the preventative maintenance.
- Maintain all necessary maintenance records for department vehicles.
- Inspect all vehicles on a Day to Day basis to determine that high standards of cleanliness, safety,and security are maintained.
- Supervise all bus drivers’ behavior.
- Check driver logs daily and fill mileage, and report to Admin Officer, Dept. Of Transport.
- Strict surveillance on fuel filling & trend of fuel consumption, Average calculation
- Supervise the outsource agency work of the bus maintenance, analyze proper requirement of actual maintenance and take follow-up till the end.
- Schedule, allot time, and assign driver personnel for all the requisitions.
- Design and periodically revise bus schedules and routes according to fluctuations in the number of passengers.
- Respond to and investigate accidents involving department vehicles.
- Report every observation to reporting officer other than regular activities.
- Maintain the RTO and other mandatory compliancesPerform other duties as assigned by the authorities Ability to
- Coordinate and supervise the work of others and to develop and maintain cooperative workingrelations with those contacted in the course of the work.
- Carry out written and oral instructions. 3. Read and interpret transportation policies.
- Prepare and present oral and written reports.
- Assist and provide direction to the employees as it relates to personnel issues and concerns.
- Dealing with the RTO, Police station and other govt. offices

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 11 months
