**Overview**:The Operations Manager for The Miller's chain of retail outlets plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning of all retail branches across India. This role requires a strategic and detail-oriented professional who can oversee various operational aspects, maintain consistent standards, and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

**Responsibilities**:
**Operational Excellence**:Oversee and manage daily operations of all retail outlets, ensuring alignment with company standards and policies.
Implement efficient processes for inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising.
Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.

**Team Leadership**:Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing store team, including floor staff, supervisors, and assistant managers.
Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to foster a positive work environment and ensure excellent customer service.

**Performance Management**:Set clear performance goals and KPIs for each retail outlet and team member.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
Address any staffing or performance issues promptly and professionally.

**Inventory and Supply Chain**:Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure optimal stock levels and timely replenishment.
Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and loss.
Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.

**Customer Experience**:Uphold The Miller's commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Monitor customer feedback and trends to identify opportunities for enhancing customer satisfaction.

**Compliance and Safety**:Ensure that all retail outlets adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and health and safety standards.
Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard employees, customers, and assets.

**Communication and Reporting**:Regularly communicate with the Director of Operations and other relevant stakeholders to provide updates on store performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Prepare and present operational reports as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in retail operations management, with at least [X] years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using retail management software and tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: ₹10,355.54 - ₹22,196.87 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Operations: 1 year (preferred)
