**Sales Coordinator**:
The Sales Coordinator provides essential support to the sales team by managing schedules, handling customer interactions, and ensuring that the sales processes run smoothly. This role involves coordinating the logistics of sales activities, assisting in the preparation of reports, and collaborating with various departments to meet organizational goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Support**:
- Assist the sales team in managing customer accounts, inquiries, and orders.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing campaigns and product promotions.
- **Order Processing**:
- Process customer orders and manage order status updates.
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of orders into the system.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- **Communication & Coordination**:
- Act as a liaison between the sales team, clients, and internal departments (e.g., marketing, logistics, finance).
- Manage communication with clients to provide product information, pricing details, and delivery schedules.
- Schedule sales meetings, client calls, and presentations.
- **Reporting & Analysis**:
- Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and reports.
- Track sales performance metrics and generate relevant reports for the sales team and management.
- Maintain and update customer databases (e.g., CRM systems).
- **Administrative Tasks**:
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of sales materials.
- Support the team in organizing travel, accommodations, and events as needed.
- **Customer Relationship Management**:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in managing client relationships by maintaining contact and follow-up on accounts.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
- Proven experience in sales coordination or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience in sales support or administrative roles within specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, technology).
- Basic knowledge of sales techniques and principles.
- Familiarity with invoicing, order processing, and sales contracts.
