Fibre Technician

**Location**:Lalru, Punjab**

As a Field Technician - Fiber Broadband Installation and Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless deployment and upkeep of fiber broadband connections within our network. Your primary responsibilities will include:
**1. Installation**:

- Conducting on-site installations of fiber optic cables and broadband equipment at customer premises.
- Configuring routers, modems, and other necessary hardware to establish internet connectivity.
- Ensuring installations adhere to industry standards and safety protocols.

**2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Performing routine maintenance checks on existing fiber optic infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues related to broadband connectivity, signal strength, and network stability.
- Implementing timely repairs and fixes to address any faults or disruptions in the network.

**3. Splicing and Fusion**:

- Utilizing splicer machines to perform fusion splicing of fiber optic cables, ensuring precise and durable connections.
- Conducting fusion splicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications and best practices.
- Maintaining splicing equipment and tools in good working condition, performing regular calibration and maintenance tasks.

**4. Customer Support**:

- Providing technical assistance and guidance to customers regarding broadband setup, usage, and troubleshooting.
- Responding promptly to service requests and inquiries from customers regarding connectivity issues.
- Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with customers onsite.

**5. Documentation and Reporting**:

- Documenting all installation and maintenance activities accurately, including equipment configurations and service records.
- Generating detailed reports on network performance, equipment status, and any identified issues for management review.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or certification in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fiber optic cable installation, broadband network deployment, or telecommunications infrastructure.
- Proficiency in using splicer machines for fusion splicing of fiber optic cables.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
