Drive category sales growth & profitability and customer engagement through shopper-focused solutions across range, space management, pricing & promotions.

Responsibility: This position is primarily responsible for:
**Support-Home Improvement **is responsible for management and execution of business overseeing sales and margin delivery for barbeque set and accessories, car accessories/ fresheners, DIY accessories, garden(DIY), electrical needs, hardware and tools, lighting needs, safety, driving category growth & profitability focusing on customer engagement through shopper-focused solutions across range, space management, pricing & promotions and build industry leading and profitable Home improvement categories in Home & Living department in alignment with the 4 pillars of SPAR - Value, Freshness, Service and Choice across all SPAR Hypermarkets across the country and reports into Head - Home and Living.

**Authority**:This position is accountable for:

- Developing buying and merchandising strategy for the home improvement division with a view towards growing sales year on year in a profitable manner.
- Ensuring alignment of the HI category strategy with the organizational business strategy and ensure close coordination with operations and all other functions.
- Adherence to annual budget and financial performance for the HI categories across Hypermarkets and ownership of the P&L of the HI Categories
- Implementing Business Strategies and plans for the HI categories in Hypermarket Retail stores across the country and other Omni channels
- Drive the Home Improvements categories under Private Label and increase SKUs and shares year on year.
- Deciding on Price Benchmarking of the HI categories, perform competition benchmarking and implement retail Best Practices and commercial processes.
- Engaging and handling key stakeholders in the HI category across the regulatory spectrum, promoters and competition
- Constantly work towards incorporating SPAR and other global / industry best practices into the ways of working across the HI categories.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
