**Job Title: Accounts Assistant**

**Goyal Books Overseas is a K12 Educational Supplier (Books, Stationery, Uniform) to Schools, Colleges and other educational institutions in the GCC and Africa Region.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **TDS Return Filing**:
- Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission to avoid penalties.
- **GST Compliance**:
- Handle Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations.
- Assist in preparing GST returns and reconciling GST-related accounts.
- **Bank Reconciliation**:
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate records and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with banks to resolve any issues related to transactions.
- **Excel Proficiency**:
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate spreadsheets.
- Create and manage financial models and forecasts.
- **Preparation of Financial Statements**:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain records of all transactions and ensure all accounts are up to date.
- **Expense Management**:
- Review and verify expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Monitor and analyse expenses to identify areas for cost reduction.
- **Support Audits**:
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Implement audit recommendations to enhance internal controls.
- **Financial Reporting**:
- Generate regular financial reports for management review.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and insights for decision-making.
- **Collaborate with Other Departments**:
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Provide financial insights and support for budgeting and forecasting.

**Education Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) is a plus.
**Physical Fitness**:
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of TDS and GST regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
