Melting Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:
1. Supervise and coordinate melting operations in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.

2. Oversee the operation of melting furnaces, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed.

3. Monitor melting processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.

4. Train and mentor melting team members, providing guidance on best practices and procedures.

5. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.

6. Collaborate with other departments, such as production and quality control, to optimize efficiency and productivity.

7. Maintain accurate records of production activities, including melting parameters, material usage, and inventory levels.

8. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance melting processes and achieve cost savings goals.

9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and production targets.

10. Assist with the development and implementation of training programs for new employees and ongoing skill development for existing staff.

**Qualifications**:
1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in foundry operations, with specific experience in melting processes.

2. Strong knowledge of melting equipment and procedures, including induction furnaces and crucible melting.

3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.

4. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions.

5. Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental standards related to melting operations.

6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to maintain accurate records and documentation.

7. Flexible and adaptable, able to prioritize tasks and adjust to changing production demands.

8. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
