As a Valuation Associate, you will be working in a niche, fast paced, challenging environment supporting our Valuation Practice at Omnifin. You will be exposed to valuation of various asset types such as: Businesses, Equity Shares, Preference Shares, Debentures, Convertible Notes, Intangibles (Brands, Goodwill), ESOPs and more.

As part of our Valuation Practice, you will work with CFOs, CAs, Merchant Bankers, Investment Bankers, PE/VC Investors and Start-up Founders to assess the valuation of businesses and assets across a variety of transactions. From Start-ups that were born yesterday to Global conglomerates, from simple Book Values to International Mergers and Acquisitions and everything in between, you will be exposed to global valuation practices.

As part of the Valuation Team, your responsibilities will include (will not be limited to):

- Understanding Clients’ business and industry environment
- Understanding Financial Statements
- Conducting a Due Diligence of the Financial records, interview the clients about their business, obtain appropriate documents to support your assumptions
- Evaluate Term sheets, Shareholder Agreements, Merger Schemes and other regulatory documents
- Conduct industry and economic analysis to create benchmarks for clients business and Omnifin thought leadership
- Prepare Spreadsheet based Financial Models for valuation
- Prepare global standard Valuation Reports
- Manage engagement economics, build client relationships

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
