**Position**: Research Associate (Short Term Engagement-Contractual) - **10 positions**

**Experience**:Minimum 2-3 Years of Teaching/Educational Research

**Duration**: Two to Three weeks between November-December 2023

**Engagement Overview**:
Ei is looking for some dynamic and enthusiastic individuals with prior experience in educational research to engage them as Research Associates for a qualitative evaluation of the FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) project going on in MP and UP.

**Responsibilities**:

- Visit to assigned government primary schools in the given district using public conveyance.
- Conduct descriptive classroom observation, in-depth interviews and document analysis with teachers.
- Conduct in-depth interviews, shadowing, document
- analysis and collect the qualitative note with government officials.
- Conduct focused group discussion (FGD) with teachers/stakeholders.
- Digitize classroom observation data and on-ground observation notes for easy access.
- Take photos (e.g. of documents and classrooms), and audio recordings of all interviews.
- Ensure 100% of the recordings, reports, documents are sent to Ei by the end of the day.
- Actively contribute to the daily reflection call held by Ei.
- Ensure to meet 100% of the deadlines for project completion.

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
