Healing Temple Dr Arhat Homoeo Clinic has vacancy for Student/ Intern Dietician at our clinic located in Sector 24 Rohini Delhi.

Role and responsibilities of the intern dietician involves gaining hands-on training in macro and micronutrient balancing diets and work under the guidance of senior dietitians on therapeutic cases.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Nutrient Balancing Training**:

- **Macro and Micronutrient Education**:

- Study and understand the roles of macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, fats) and micronutrients (vitamins, minerals) in the diet.
- Learn to calculate daily requirements based on individual needs and conditions.
- **Diet Planning and Analysis**:

- Assist in creating balanced meal plans tailored to different demographics and health conditions.
- Use nutritional analysis software to assess the nutrient content of meal plans.
- **Therapeutic Case Assistance**:

- **Case Study and Assessment**:

- Work with senior dietitians to gather and review patient histories, including medical conditions, dietary habits, and lifestyle factors.
- Participate in nutritional assessments to identify nutrient deficiencies or excesses.
- **Customized Diet Plans**:

- Help design personalized diet plans aimed at managing or improving specific health conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and obesity.
- Ensure diet plans adhere to therapeutic guidelines and are nutritionally adequate.
- **Clinical Support**:

- **Patient Interaction**:

- Assist in conducting initial consultations and follow-up appointments.
- Provide educational support to patients about their dietary plans and the importance of nutrient balance.
- **Monitoring and Evaluation**:

- Track patient progress, noting improvements or any adverse reactions.
- Report findings to senior dietitians to adjust dietary plans as necessary.
- **Educational Initiatives**:

- **Workshops and Seminars**:

- Help organize and conduct educational sessions for patients and staff on topics related to nutrition and therapeutic diets.
- Prepare educational materials such as brochures, handouts, and presentations.
- **Continuous Learning**:

- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in nutrition and dietetics.
- Participate in workshops, webinars, and other professional development opportunities.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, dietary plans, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work collaboratively with the dietetics team and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to team meetings and case discussions with insights and suggestions.

Skills and Qualifications:

- **Educational Background**:

- Pursuing or holding a degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in using nutritional analysis software and tools.
- Ability to calculate and interpret nutrient requirements and dietary intake.
- **Interpersonal Skills**:

- Strong communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration.
