**As an Interior Design Intern, your role will involve assisting and supporting interior designers in various**

**aspects of their work. You will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and learn about the**

**industry while contributing to the design process. Here is a general job description for an Interior Design**

**Intern**:
1. Design Support: You will assist in creating design concepts and developing space plans for residential or commercial projects. This may include producing sketches, renderings, or digital models to visualize design ideas.

2. Material and Product Research: You will help research and source materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) for projects. This involves staying up-to-date with design trends and product knowledge.

3. Project Documentation: You will assist in preparing design documentation, including creating detailed drawings, construction documents, and specifications. This may involve using computer-aided design (CAD) software or other design tools.

4. Client Interaction: You may participate in meetings with clients to gather project requirements, present design concepts, and receive feedback. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.

5. Space Planning: You will assist in analyzing and optimizing space utilization, considering factors like functionality, ergonomics, and aesthetics. This involves creating furniture layouts, determining traffic flow, and ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.

6. Collaboration: You will work closely with the design team, including interior designers, architects, contractors, and suppliers. Effective teamwork and coordination are crucial to deliver successful projects.

7. Site Visits: You may accompany designers on site visits to assess project progress, take measurements, and review construction quality. This provides hands-on experience and an understanding of the implementation phase.

8. Project Organization: You will help maintain project files, material samples, and other documentation. This includes organizing design libraries and catalogs, ensuring they are up-to-date and easily accessible.

9. Industry Awareness: You will be expected to stay informed about the latest trends, materials, and techniques in interior design. Attending industry events, trade shows, or workshops may be encouraged to expand your knowledge.

10. Professional Development: You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced designers and gain practical skills in a professional setting. Ask questions, seek feedback, and take advantage of the learning opportunities provided during your internship.

Contract length: 3-6 months

**Salary**: ₹3,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
