Sewing Teacher

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to students' individual needs and skill levels.
- Teach sewing techniques to students of all ages, including basic stitches, pattern reading, and garment construction
- Provide guidance and support to students as they work on sewing projects.
- Demonstrate proper use and care of sewing equipment and tools.
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to the organization.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive curriculum.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay up-to-date on new sewing techniques and teaching strategies

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in fashion or têxtiles preferred.
- Experience in sewing techniques, pattern making, and garment construction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English, with written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with students of all ages and background (specialy mothers) and skill levels.
- Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans.
- Familiarity with sewing equipment and tools, including sewing machines, sergers, and hand tools.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Ability to maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners.

**Salary**: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary(10th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (required)
- Making lesson plans: 2 years (preferred)
- total work: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
