Production Chemist

Key Responsibilities:
Production Process Execution:Prepare and set up equipment and production lines for the manufacturing of pharmaceutical or chemical products.
Follow SOPs to carry out production processes, including weighing, mixing, blending, and chemical reactions.

Quality Control and Assurance:Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure products meet the required specifications and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or other applicable regulations.
Take appropriate actions in case of deviations or non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive measures.

Safety Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Handle and store hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations.

Record-Keeping and Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date batch records, production logs, and other documentation related to production activities.
Complete production reports and submit them as per company policies.

Equipment Maintenance:Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of production equipment and instruments to avoid cross-contamination and ensure reliable performance.

Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process optimization, yield improvement, and waste reduction.
Participate in process improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments, such as research and development, quality control, and engineering, to ensure smooth production operations and continuous improvement.

Compliance and Training:Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and comply with company policies and procedures.
Participate in training programs to enhance your technical and regulatory knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees may be preferred for senior positions.
- Proven experience in production operations within a pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes, reaction kinetics, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or other quality and regulatory standards applicable to the industry.
- Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping skills and the ability to follow SOPs precisely.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot process-related issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to production schedules as needed.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
