**Job Title**: Maintenance Fitter Head

**Salary**:25K - 35K per month (based on experience and last drawn)

**Job Summary**: The Maintenance Fitter Head is responsible for leading and managing the maintenance fitter team, ensuring the effective and efficient maintenance of equipment and machinery. This role involves developing and implementing maintenance programs, overseeing repairs, and coordinating with other departments to optimize production processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Team Leadership:Lead and manage a team of maintenance fitters, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities in a way that mínimally impacts production.
- Equipment Repairs: Oversee and participate in the troubleshooting and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of equipment breakdowns to minimize production disruptions.
- Spare Parts Management:Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment to ensure availability for repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with procurement to source and purchase necessary spare parts.
- Health and Safety Compliance:Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety training for the maintenance team.
- Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
- Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the maintenance department.
- Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance operations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality control, and engineering, to optimize overall plant performance.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address production challenges and improvements.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
