PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- The purpose of the job is to Plan, schedule and monitor Depot Maintenance activities.
- Plan and execute the Operationalising of Depot with interface with differenet metiers and monitor the critical path in MPO
- Anticipate and plan through project management tools for critical activities, monitoring the same effectively.
- Ensure continuous improvement in monitoring time, cost & quality in the project in order to reach the global requirement of the project.

Internal
- E-loco ( MELPL & AMIPL) internal stake holders like Indus, Sourcing ,SCM, Fleet & Warranty, Testing, Engineering/ Design, QA & Finance.

External
- GC(Engineering SPOC + PMC site team) & EPC( Engineering SPOC + Planning & Project management team)

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
- Responsible for Planning management of the project in preparation and during maintenance phase
- Planning, scheduling and giving maximum priority to Depot Maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain planning control structures in alignment with approved project Work Breakdown structure (WBS)
- Ensure an effective maintenance plan is developed and managed on a day-to-day basis.
- Develops projects schedule taking into account engineering and procurement till first maintenance Works.
- Updates project schedule and alerts on deviations in comparison with original plan
- Generate and maintain multi-level programme plans and schedules using PMS and MPT
- Support the Fleet Operations manager with all aspects of the fleet planning maintenance plan
- Interface with the Supply Chain to ensure that adequate provisions are made to meet the Production plans.
- Translating preventive plan activities, production and commercial service issues within working orders (Service Order)
- Reporting Depot maintenance activities status and follow up.
- Keep always Production teams informed about scheduled time slots.
- Interface between maintenance team leaders, retrofit teams, engineering teams and all kind of external company teams.
- Supervision/coordination of maintenance activities on all trains in workshop according to fixed time slots during planning meetings.
- Liaise with engineering, Industrialization, procurement, and others as required, including third parties, to maintain awareness of project activities, their status, and their impact on the project schedule and manpower requirements.
- Preparation, maintenance and assessment of Programme Risk & Opportunity Register, identifying schedule / cost impact and mitigation actions
- Support the maintenance and monitoring of Work Packages for spend and forecasts, Support Forecast Cost at Completion (FCAC) exercises
- Co-ordination and production of Monthly Project Reporting Packs
- Keep always a general and updated overview about crucial spare parts availability.
- Check production team workload under control, in order to ensure the best saturation as possible.
- Managing any problems with extraordinary planning meetings (if required).
- Verification of compliance with scheduled departure and arrival time in Depot. Check and reporting of all delay reasons.
- Translating production and commercial service issue within working orders.
- Ensuring that all updated planning information’s are spread out within workshop in real time mode.
- Conducting daily, weekly and monthly planning meetings.
- Playing on the whiteboards in the workshop of the maintenance slots scheduled during the planning meetings.
- Bringing into default planning items special request coming from all project team and scheduling them using SAP system.
- Reporting all cumulated delays and root cause of them. Analyzing delaying issues in order to better perform in similar future circumstances.
- Interfacing with Supply Chain team (using meetings and SAP system) to check needed spare parts to be available.
- Reporting all special activities status within dedicated figures, graphs and gants.
- Creating and releasing of notification and service orders related to preventive maintenance, if required.
- Tracking of document, RFI & drawing register.
- Coordinating for all the site review governance meetings & ensuring the MOMs to be done by GC/PMC.
- Submission of all the MIS for internal stake holders.
- Checking of the EPC & GC invoices.
- Deliberating the contractual issues out of deviations, slippages etc.

Educational Requirements
- Desireable : Planning Certification (PMP, IPMA, Primavera, SAP, MPT, MS Office)
