**Duties and Responsibilities**

**A. Technical**
- Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to ensure the quality of the products and tests to be developed, i.e., perform manual static testing.
- Expertise in developing test automation framework and test environment setup for requirements. Holding a Telecom OSS/BSS systems automation experience is a plus
- Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for various Software Cafeteria products, i.e., perform automated dynamic testing.
- Work with the Manual testing team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.
- Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Good communication, documentation, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and customer-facing skills
- Good exposure and knowledge in security and performance testing tools like Burp Suite, IBM Appscan, IBM Appscan source, Checkmarx, Microfocus Fortify, Ready APISecure Pro, JMeter, etc.
- Possess sound knowledge of API security which includes (SOAP and RESTful).
- Knowledge of security automation would be added advantage.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps in the CI/CD pipeline, including integration of various security testing tools like ZAP, SonarQube, etc., would be an added advantage.
- Make recommendations for updates, additions, and modifications to security policy as gaps or deficiencies are identified.
- Conduct Security Audits, Analyze Security Policies, and Write Security Assessment Reports
- Understand the performance requirements and prepare test plans per the system/performance specifications.
- Experience with testing both GUI and Micro Services.
- Sound understanding of Application architecture.
- Monitoring various server resources like DB connection pools, Threads, etc.
- Should have good exposure to Monitoring Tools - Dynatrace, JVisualVM, etc.
- Should have good knowledge of performance analysis/Troubleshooting.
- Should have experience in HTTP/HTTPS, Webservice, etc.

**- Should be an expert in analyzing results, Reporting, KPI Capabilities, etc.**

**B. Management and Supervisory**
- Provide the Project Manager with accurate and precise estimates for assigned task duration, confidence levels, and foreseeable dependencies.
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing test plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Provide technical guidance to junior-level test engineers and test technicians assigned to assist the Test Automation Engineer.
- Provide the Project Manager with performance assessments for assigned junior personnel.

**C. Attitudes and Initiative**
- Develop and maintain suitable professional working relationships, especially within the test team and with those who regularly interact with the test team.
- Focus on the critical testing and project priorities as agreed upon with the Project Manager.
- Effectively balance curiosity about tests, test results, and bugs with project constraints on budget and schedule.
- Exhibit a demeanor of professional pessimism, i.e., in a pleasant and non-confrontational fashion, work with determination to find, document, and advocate the repair of bugs.
- Show initiative in setting and meeting goals within an environment of managed change.

**- Understand the role of testing within the software development lifecycle and business-related project constraints and effectively advocate for the best possible customer experience of product quality within those parameters.**

**Salary**: ₹585,930.92 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
