**About the team**:This team will be accountable for building up a strong portfolio of Non - Motor Insurance for Paytm in the market.
**About Role**:As the Lead of Non-Motor Insurance, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the Non-Motor Insurance Business, which includes Health and Life insurance. Your responsibilities will encompass partnership management, P&L management, launch of new products, funnel optimization, sales partnerships, digital sales (D2C), risk analysis, strategic innovation, compliance oversight, stakeholder engagement, and process improvement. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the non-motor insurance segment, driving innovation, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the long-term profitability of the business.
**Responsibilities**:
P&L (Profit and Loss): Monitoring the financial performance of the non-motor insurance portfolio.Launch of New Products: Assessing our ability to introduce innovative insurance products to the market.Funnel Management: Analyzing and optimizing the sales funnel to ensure efficient customer conversion.Digital Sales & D2C (Direct-to-Consumer): Evaluating the growth and effectiveness of our digital sales channels, including direct-to-consumer initiatives.Partnership Management: Take ownership of the partnership management for the Non-Motor Insurance Business, ensuring its long-term profitability.Risk Analysis: Analyze the Non-Motor insurance portfolio, assessing the impact of underwriting decisions on claims.Strategic Innovation: Drive strategic innovation initiatives across the business, including product development, marketing, and operations. Refining and optimizing current underwriting processes, such as Vehicle Pre-inspection, Policy issuance, endorsements, and policy renewals.Collaborate with the product manager and technology developers to provide requirements for enhancing existing processes and actively participate in testing new platforms.Develop and execute strategies to enhance the end-to-end customer experience, from proposal entry to policy issuance, by creating flexible and efficient systems.Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Oversee compliance and regulatory activities, ensuring adherence to the latest IRDAI regulations and guidelines.Stakeholder Management: Proactively engage with and manage various stakeholders involved in the Non-Motor Insurance business.Market Research: Conduct market research and studies to evaluate underwriting practices and the availability of products and benefits in the non-motor insurance sector.Process Improvement: Create and document business processes and consistently work towards improving them to enhance operational efficiency.
**Requirements & Qualifications**:
10+ years of experience.Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve business strategies.Leadership: Proven leadership and people management experience.Self-motivated: Self-driven, smart-working individual with the ability to lead teams effectively.Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.Adaptability: Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and take a hands-on approach to tasks.Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed and fluency in both Hindi and English.Independence: Ability to work independently, lead teams, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
