KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Appraisal, quality assurance and reporting
- Conduct thorough inspections of gold items, evaluating purity, weight, and quality taken for pledge by the branch employees.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain accuracy and consistency in the appraisal process.
- Observe, record and report any malpractices, discrepancies, or anomalies found in the branch transactions during the inspection tenure.
- Swift reporting of spurious gold ornaments identified during inspection
Documentation, Reporting and market information
- Accurately document details of the appraised gold, maintaining comprehensive records for internal and regulatory purposes.
- Update purity index in the system
- Conduct of handover/takeover of branch as and when required by the Management and sending pertaining reports to the head/manager of gold inspection.
- Stay updated on gold market trends, ensuring awareness of factors influencing gold values.
Stakeholder management
- Work closely with branch employees and other team members to facilitate seamless gold inspection process.
- Partner in the gold auction procedures as recommended by head of gold inspection, which includes verification and sealing of auction related packets, or any pre-auction related special inspection in certain branches as and when directed by the department head.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
