Product Designer
**Job Description**:
**Opportunity Summary**:
We are looking for a product designer that can help build the future of our product by contributing to every aspect of the product development process - from user research, to brainstorming ideas, to crafting the most delightful interaction, to polishing pixels. You’ll flex your full range of research, product design, interaction design, and visual design muscles.
**What would you do?**:
- You’ll own the end-to-end experience of how our customers interact with the product.
- You’ll be the strongest advocate for our users by contributing to the product design strategy all the way to the UI details.
- You’ll work closely with product managers to understand problems and identify user needs and motivations.
- You’ll use effective user science (user testing, surveys, etc.) to uncover the best solutions to high potential user problems.
- You'll work closely with engineers, to help with the implementation of designs, ensuring design solutions are understood and executed correctly.
- You’ll be learning and contributing through regular design meetings and weekly critiques with other designers.
- You’ll align regularly with other designers in the same org to grow the design practice.
- You’ll be defining and maintaining UX best practices, ensuring consistency and usability across products.
- You’ll be reporting to the Product design manager and the Director of Product.

The following skills are needed for this role.
**Experience**
- You have at least 2+ years of experience designing quality digital products and systems that have shipped (not just websites).
**Primary Skills**
- You can design simple, elegant interactions for complex task flows.
- You have experience designing tests and prototypes, performing user testing, and synthesizing results to inform your design decisions.
- You can create beautiful hi-fidelity mockups, preferably using Sketch.
- You have excellent communications - you can clearly articulate product design decisions and the reasoning behind them.
- It’s a bonus if you have experience working within teams that incorporate Lean UX and/or agile methodologies

**Qualification**:
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in UX. Any additional certifications are a plus, but not required.
This role requires overlap with multiple time zones for planning meetings, status updates etc. on a regular basis.
