Position: Garment Merchandiser

Location: Noida

Reports to: Merchandising Manager

Job Summary: A Garment Merchandiser plays a crucial role in the fashion and apparel industry by managing the end-to-end process of bringing garments from design concept to the hands of consumers. This role involves liaising between design, production, and sales teams to ensure that garments are produced, delivered, and marketed effectively. Garment Merchandisers must have a deep understanding of the fashion industry, market trends, and a strong business acumen to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:Collaborate with designers and product development teams to understand the design concept, fabric, and garment specifications.
Source and select appropriate materials and trims for garments.

Production Coordination:Develop production plans and timelines for each garment.
Communicate with manufacturers to ensure that garments are produced according to quality, quantity, and timeline specifications.
Monitor the production process to address any quality or production issues that may arise.

Documentation and Reporting:Maintain records of production schedules, costs, and quality control measures.
Generate reports and provide regular updates to management.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in garment merchandising or a related role in the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of têxtiles, garment construction, and production processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:
