**Role Overview**:
REFFTO is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our growing team. As a Video Editor at REFFTO, you will play a crucial role in bringing our educational content to life through compelling and visually appealing videos. You will work closely with our content creators and instructional designers to edit, enhance, and optimize video materials that will be used in our online courses, tutorials, and promotional content.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Video Editing**:Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for online courses, tutorials, marketing campaigns, and other educational materials.
- **Content Enhancement**:Enhance video and audio quality, colour correction, and audio mixing to ensure the highest production standards are met.

- **Graphic Integration**:Integrate graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance the educational value and engagement of the videos.
- **Video Optimization**:Optimize videos for various platforms and formats, including web, mobile, and social media, while ensuring accessibility and compatibility.
- **Quality Control**:Perform quality checks to ensure video content meets company standards and guidelines.
- **Efficiency**:Manage and organize video assets efficiently to streamline the editing process.
- **Collaboration**:Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including content creators, instructional designers, and marketing professionals, to ensure video content aligns with the overall educational strategy.
- **Staying Current**:Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging video editing technologies to continually improve and innovate the video production process.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in the ed-tech or e-learning industry.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong understanding of video production techniques, visual storytelling, and video aesthetics.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high production standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creativity and a passion for education and technology.

**Education**:

- A bachelor's degree or film, media, communication related field is preferred but not required.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skills and relevant work experience will be highly considered.
