**.Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Teaching: The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Visual Communication. They will be expected to create course syllabi, develop course content, prepare lectures and presentations, lead classroom discussions, evaluate student performance, and provide feedback and academic guidance to students.
- Service: The Assistant Professor will participate in departmental and college-level service activities. They may serve on committees, participate in professional organizations, engage in community outreach, and assist in the development of new courses and programs.
- Mentorship: The Assistant Professor will provide academic guidance and mentorship to students. They will be expected to help students develop their critical thinking skills, offer career advice, provide feedback on academic performance, and help students to prepare for their future careers.
- Collaboration: The Assistant Professor will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues. They may collaborate on research projects, develop new teaching methods, and contribute to the overall success of the department and college.
- Professional Development: The Assistant Professor will engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with the latest developments in the field. They may attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions, participate in continuing education programs, and pursue professional certifications.

**Qualifications**:

- PhD or MPhil in Visual Communication or a related field
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research in Visual Communication
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Experience in developing and delivering innovative teaching methods and
curriculum
- Familiarity with the use of technology in teaching and research
