**Objective**: A radiographer at a homecare job is a healthcare professional who specializes in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, on patients in their own homes. Their primary responsibility is to operate radiographic equipment and capture images of the patient's body to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

**Qualification**:Diploma/ Degree in Radiography

**Experience**: 1-3 years experience in conducting Xray tests. Training will be given on conducting other tests - ECG & PFT

**Work timings**:They will need to work on shift timings, covering a period of 12 hours - May have to work on Sundays as well.

**Remuneration**: Basic salary of Rs.15,000 - 16,000/ Month+ incentives on no of cases taken

1. **Diagnostic Imaging Procedures**: Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, under the direction of a physician or radiologist. This involves positioning patients correctly, operating radiographic equipment, and ensuring high-quality images are obtained.

2. **Patient Care**: Provide compassionate and competent care to patients in their homes, taking into consideration their unique needs and circumstances. Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

3. **Equipment Operation**: Operate radiographic equipment, including X-ray machines, to capture images of the patient's body. Set appropriate exposure factors, adjust imaging parameters, and position the equipment accurately to obtain optimal images.

4. **Image Processing and Analysis**: Process and evaluate the acquired images to ensure proper positioning, image quality, and diagnostic value. Recognize any technical issues or artifacts that may affect the accuracy of the images and take necessary corrective actions.

5. **Radiation Safety and Protection**: Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and other individuals present during the imaging procedure. Use appropriate radiation shielding and protective measures as required.

6. **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures performed, including patient information, imaging parameters, and any pertinent observations. Prepare reports and transmit images to the referring physician or radiologist for interpretation.

7. **Communication and Collaboration**: Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient's care. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient management.

8. **Equipment Maintenance and Quality Control**: Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on radiographic equipment to ensure its proper functioning. Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any malfunctions or abnormalities to the appropriate personnel.

9. **Continuing Education**: Stay updated with the latest advances in radiographic technology, techniques, and safety practices through ongoing professional

development and education. Participate in training programs and attend workshops or conferences as necessary.
