Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine tool requirements
- Design and build custom tooling, dies, molds, and fixtures.
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines to produce precision components
- Repair and maintain existing tools and dies, troubleshoot and identify issues, and implement necessary corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production personnel to optimize tooling designs and improve efficiency
- Conduct tests and inspections on tooling to ensure accuracy, proper function, and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker or in a similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation, including GD&T
- Strong knowledge of tooling materials, machining techniques, and precision measurement tools
- Experience with various machine tools, including CNC machines
- Ability to operate CAD/CAM software for tool design and programming
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
