- Ensure the safety and well-being of the animal before, during, and after surgery.
- **Treatment and Medication**:

- Prescribe and administer medications as needed.
- Develop treatment plans for various conditions, including infectious diseases, chronic illnesses, and injuries.
- **Preventive Care**:

- Provide vaccinations and recommend preventive measures to maintain the health of animals.
- Educate pet owners on proper nutrition, grooming, and overall care for their animals.
- **Emergency Care**:

- Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care for injured or seriously ill animals.
- Make quick and accurate decisions to stabilize and treat emergency cases.
- **Client Communication**:

**Qualifications**:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- State licensure to practice veterinary medicine.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
