Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellow (to be converted to PhD position) in Mechanical Engineering department, BITS Pilani Goa campus under Cross-Disciplinary Research Framework (CDRF) Scheme in an exciting project on wearable technology : "_**SwedGuru: A privacy-aware smart wearable patch to analyze sweat and provide real-time health feedback**_".

**Project Summary**:According to a recent ICMR study India is the 'diabetes capital of the world' with 101 million diabetics and 136 million pre-diabetic individuals. Continuous glucose monitoring is crucial for effective diabetes management. Therefore, we aim to develop a wearable patch (Swedguru) capable of real-time, non-invasive monitoring of glucose levels by analyzing sweat. Our device will employ novel graphene sensing technology and ML algorithms to obtain accurate-continuous monitoring. Swedguru can be extended to study multiple sweat analytes related to other health conditions.

Pay: ₹37,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
