Stockroom Assistant

As a Stockroom Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stockroom or warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, organizing, and managing inventory, as well as fulfilling orders and maintaining stockroom cleanliness. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**: Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments. Update inventory records accurately using computerized systems. Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
- **Order Fulfillment**: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures. Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders before dispatch.
- **Stock Organization**: Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-organized stockroom. Arrange items in designated storage locations for easy access and efficient retrieval.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct regular inspections to ensure product quality and integrity. Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged items to management.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of stock movements, including receipts, transfers, and withdrawals. Generate reports as required for inventory tracking and analysis.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Follow company policies and procedures, including security measures for safeguarding inventory.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with other team members, including warehouse staff, supervisors, and delivery personnel, to coordinate stockroom activities and meet operational objectives.
