- The Statistical Data Analyst will contribute to the development and launch of pharmaceutical products with the following responsibilities:

- Analyze, interpret, document, and effectively summarize data to support the design, characterization, and qualification of packaging components and container closure systems in accordance with quality system procedures and business processes.
- Perform data /statistical analysis and summarize outputs for all packaging component and container closure system testing such as syringe/cartridge functionality, performance, and stability testing (optimization studies, Design Of Experiments methodology, screening studies).
- Provide guidance on study design and recommendations for sample quantities needed for testing to demonstrate statistical significance.
- Perform data mining on container closure attributes (e.g. silicone oil mapping), device functionality (e.g. syringe glide force) and device performances (e.g. autoinjector injection process time) to Support innovation projects.
- Communicate with DDCS Engineers and external contractors to align on platform and molecule-specific project needs for data analysis. Document information generated into electronic notebook, technical reports, and powerpoint presentations.
- Perform data integrity review and data process verification.
- Support the authoring and technical review of regulatory submission documentation and development history reports.
- Partner with key stakeholders (internal and external to Lilly) to enable project progression from clinical development through commercialization.
- Perform data / statistical analysis and summarize outputs for shipping & distribution studies.
- Perform X-ray CT scan data analysis using GD&T metrology software and other image processing for visualization and other digital image processing tasks.
- Perform dimensional analysis and stacked tolerance analysis for parenteral DP container closure systems.
- Perform sample inputs into analytical testing IT databases.
- Ensure individual and departmental compliance with the laws, regulations, guidelines, procedures, and practices governing drug research and development, including the departmental and corporate standard operating, good manufacturing, and safety procedures.
- Coding skills, especially in Python.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work productively in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Successful interaction with senior technical engineering and scientific personnel.
- Experience working in a diverse networked technical organization with proven skills to manage suppliers and alliance partners.
- Other skills preferred:

- Statistics; Deep Learning; Cloud Computing; ML-based software architecture; Natural Language Processing; Computer system validation in a GMP setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Data Science, Statistics (or related fields) and/or research and development experience in the pharmaceutical / medical device industry (3-5 yrs) may substitute. More responsibility is expected with increasing levels of experience in various areas of the pharmaceutical industry, as defined in the current Lilly Global Job Structure and Level Expectations.
