Store Supervisor

**Job Title: Store Supervisior**

As a Storekeeper, your primary responsibility is to efficiently manage the storage and distribution of goods within the organization. This role involves overseeing inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records of stock. The Storekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring the availability of products while adhering to proper storage and handling procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Inventory Management**:

- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for easy access and efficient retrieval.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile with system records.

2. **Order Processing**:

- Process and fulfill internal requisitions for stock.
- Prepare and pack items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock levels and replenish inventory as needed.

3. **Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
- Document damaged or defective items and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.

5. **Coordination with Other Departments**:

- Collaborate with purchasing and logistics departments to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with relevant departments to fulfill stock requirements.

6. **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Ensure that storage and handling equipment are well-maintained and in good working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.

**Working Conditions**:

- This role may require lifting and moving of heavy items.
- Storekeepers may need to work flexible hours based on organizational needs.
