**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Perform mammography procedures**: Independently operate mammography equipment to capture high-quality images as instructed by radiologists.
- **Patient care**: Prepare, position, and instruct patients for mammograms, ensuring a compassionate and professional experience.
- **Maintain equipment**: Perform routine checks and maintenance on mammography equipment to ensure optimal functionality and imaging quality.
- **Ensure compliance with safety standards**: Follow radiation safety protocols, including proper use of protective gear and minimizing exposure to patients and staff.
- **Documentation**: Accurately document patient information and procedures in the electronic medical record system.
- **Quality control**: Assist in quality control processes to ensure that images meet diagnostic and industry standards.
- **Patient follow-up support**: Coordinate with healthcare providers and assist in scheduling patient follow-ups when necessary.

**Required Skills**:

- In-depth knowledge of mammography techniques and radiology procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, providing compassionate care to patients.
- Ability to handle patient concerns and explain procedures clearly.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma or associate degree in Radiologic Technology, Mammography, or a related field.
- **Certification**: Certification in Radiography (ARRT or equivalent) required; Mammography certification preferred (can be obtained on the job).
- **Experience**: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in performing mammography procedures.
- **Other**: Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and mammography equipment maintenance.

**Working Conditions**:
