**Hostel Management**: Oversee the daily operations of the hostel or boarding facilities, including cleanliness, maintenance, and the provision of amenities such as food, water, and electricity.
- **Inventory Control**: Manage the inventory of hostel supplies, ensuring that students have access to necessary resources such as bedding, toiletries, and study materials.
- **Maintenance Coordination**: Coordinate with the maintenance staff to address any repairs or issues within the living quarters or other facilities.
- **Supervision**: Oversee the daily activities of students, particularly outside of class hours, including their behavior, discipline, and overall well-being.
- **Support**: Provide emotional and psychological support to students, addressing any personal or academic issues they might face.
- **Health and Safety**: Ensure that students are safe, healthy, and that their living conditions meet the school's standards. This includes monitoring hygiene, nutrition, and general health.
- **Rule Enforcement**: Enforce school rules and regulations, ensuring that students adhere to them both during and outside of academic hours.
- **Conflict Resolution**: Address conflicts among students, providing mediation and ensuring that issues are resolved in a fair and consistent manner.
- **Behavioral Guidance**: Guide and mentor students in developing good behavior, responsibility, and respect for others.
- **Attendance and Records**: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, particularly for those residing on campus. This includes keeping track of students’ whereabouts during non-academic hours.
- **Communication**: Act as a liaison between the school administration, teachers, students, and parents. Keep parents informed of their child’s well-being, behavior, and any issues that may arise.
- **Event Coordination**: Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, events, and outings, ensuring that they are conducted safely and in an orderly manner.
