**JOB DESCRIPTION - ASSISTANT PROFESSOR**
- 1. To assist the department in providing an environment to impart world-class knowledge to stud0ents in the area of your specialization.
- 3. To see that no class is let off for want of a teacher.
- 4. Assist students at all times.
- 5. 3 units / 2 modules should be completed before first internals, 3 units / 2 modules before second internals and remaining 2 units / 1 module before third internals. Extra hours have to be taken and take the complete responsibility of finishing the syllabus.
- 6. To prepare question bank for the internal exams, and submit to the internal test coordinator on the specified date.
- 7. To correct the blue books with stipulated time and submit to internal test coordinator after as per USN order.
- 8. After every test the faculty shall discuss the common mistakes and explain how to overcome them: in short do an overhaul of the paper.
- 9. To conduct tutorial class for weak students and solely responsible for their results.
- 10. To attend all the students project reviews along with the project coordinator.
- 11. Never show partiality among students and get involved in the relationship between students and other faculty members.
- 12. Is responsible for the maintaining discipline among the students and staff, in general and of their department in particular.
- 13. To bestow attention on the socio-economic problems of the students so as to help them in achieving the academic and co-curricular brilliance.
- 14. To counsel the students and help in their personal, ethical, moral and overall character development
- 15. To co-ordinate the academic, administrative and developmental activities of the department.
- 16. Promote and encourage appropriate research and innovative activities initiated either individually or collectively by the staff of their department.
- 17. Publish at least two research papers during the year in reputed journals having high impact factor.
- 18. Involve in Research and consultancy activities.
- 19. Work for the general development of the department with optimum utilization of resources available.
- 20. To supervise the conduction of assessment of student performance.
- 21. To act as a counsellor/ mentor for a group of students assigned by the HOD and keep track of their progress. As counsellor will be responsible to advice the students under him/her regarding academic and co-curricular activities. Also understand the capability of the student and personal problems, which should be brought to the notice of
- 22. You are required to attend atleast one workshop outside the college every year to enhance your knowledge in the recent technologies.
- 23. To attend any other works assigned / required by the GOVERNING COUNCIL/ACADEMIC COUNCIL/Principal/ Vice-Principal from time to time for the Healthy growth of the Institution.

**Salary**: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,928.00 per month
