Accounts Executive for a Jewelery Retail Store

**Accounts executive for a jewelery retail organisation Shivajinagar, Bengaluru**

Qualifications Required: B.Com, or BFA

Experience Required: Total of 4-6 years’ experience in accounts and finance function in a reputed organisation. Must have worked INDEPENDENTLY on GST, TDS computations and filing

Other skills required: Should be proficient at Tally ERP9 and MS Office.

Job Responsibility:
a) Posting of entries on Tally with relevant supporting documents and approvals

b) Reconciling all the accounts at least once in a month and get it confirmed with Debtors / Creditors

c) Maintain the investment portfolio of Directors and their entities - Investments, redemption and transfers with the required approvals

d) Collection of Cheques, deposit in bank and ensure it is realised

e) Make online / off line payments with approvals after ensuring the Statutory deductions like TDS, ESI, PF, etc.,

f) Maintain petty cash accounts

g) Preparation of monthly Bank, Cash reconciliation statements and passing of required accounting entries

h) Preparation of schedules for audit

i) Preparation of financial statements of the companies

j) Coordinate with the Statutory auditors to complete the required audits

k) Payment of TDS, GST, ESI, PF, Gratuity, Profession Tax, etc., preparation of monthly / quarterly & annual returns, uploading on the respective sites before the due dates

l) Computation of Advance income tax of the Directors and other entities, get it validated from the tax consultants and remit the taxes before due dates

m) Regularly check on any tax assessment or notices on the IT portal and reply in coordination with the Company's Tax consultants

n) Preparation of annual income tax returns of the Directors and other entities

o) Keep abreast of the Laws relating to Income Tax, GST and Professional tax and ensure its compliance

p) Help in maintaining various registers and documents under the Companies Act

q) Computation of salary of employees
