**Job Purpose**:
To support SH Safety in maintaining safe working environment within the Unit by implementing and ensuring strict adherence of UTCL safety standards and practices throughout the plant and inculcating strong safety behavior down the line across the plant to maintain zero incidents.

**Job Context & Major Challenges**:
Floating manpower. Contractor workers participation and awarness in safety management. Engged Truck Drivers for cement and clinker transport are not in line with our safety requirments. Lack of proactive Planning approach for the job. lack of Horizontal implementation of internal and External Audit findings at workplace.

- KRA1- Self-Demonstrated Commitment- Conduct Safety observation Round & CFSA at workplace. Reporting Near Miss, OPL & Kaizen on regular basis.
- Hazards (OFI's) Reporting & ensuring compliances for the same.- KRA2- Safety Sustainability in Respective Areas- LTIFR - 0.22 ,No. of incident & LTIFR DFE: Fatality - Zero & LTIFR - 0.22 OP: Fatality - Zero & LTIFR - 0.22 SP: Fatality - Zero & LTIFR - 0.22
- 2.Development of Safety Procedures: Investigation and analyzing accidents to develop standard practices of safety. JCC to be review.
- 3.Preparation, Positively Participation and coordination for respective of Sub - committees activities, FPSA & SPSA Audit and also ensure 100% compliance of findings with in stipulated time.
- 4.Ensure adherence to COVID precautions and guidelines issued by management time to time along with adherance of safety precautions on the site and off the site to be safe
- 5. Replicating good practice for saving environment for long run sustainability and creating awareness among manpower to save guard natural resources.
- 6. 100% active participation in respective KFA & GRT meetings and giving inputs related to bring new technology, innovation and improvements- KRA3- Engagements in review meetings- Assist immediate superior to prepare DCM ppt. Compliance & Monitoring of points generated in DCM, Fire Risk Audit & RCN/BCN Recommendation points. Qualitative assessment of incident investigation report submitted by line function.- KRA4- Safety Promotion- A) Conducted motivational programs related to safety in order to awareness among employees and contract workmen.

- B) Develop and implement best practices for eliminating fatality potential risks.- KRA5- Performance and Talent Management- Provide coaching and guidance to develop the skills of UTCL Employed, Safety Stewards & Contractors Personal Through the Audio, Video or organizing any third party for the same without any Cost. New initiative to improve dept. process.**Qualifications**:
Post Diploma-Industrial Safety,Master in Safety Science,B.E.M.B.A,Mst.in Occupatnl Safety Health

**Minimum Experience Level**:
4-6 Years
