Mainframe Sme

The person should exhibit leadership qualities and demonstrate business accumen while working closely with business users to understand requirements and help team translate it into technical changes.

**Responsibilities**
- Gauge the severity, urgency and criticality of production issues and address them as quickly as possible.
- Demonstrate analytical capability to perform ticket analysis and resolution & root cause analysis.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelors/Master degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent. Person should have above qualifications and 4.5-6.5 years of experience in relevant disciplines including:

- At least 4-6 years of strong experience in Mainframe tech stack - Hands on experience in COBOL, JCL and CICS.
- Hands-on experience with JOBTRAC or other scheduling tool such as TWS.
- Working knowledge DB2 and IMS-DB.
- At least 4-6 years of experience in SQL/DB2 with strong focus on writing/analyzing complex queries.
- Hands-on experience with scheduling tool TWS would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices.
- Exceptional problem solving skills with strong programming fundamentals & algorithms (strong analytical skills).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Service Now
- JAVA
- Familiarity with ETL/Informatica
- Familiarity with JIRA, BitBucket is a plus
- 'Familiarity with monitoring tools (SumoLogic/Dynatrace)
- Knowledge about Cloud Technology and exposure to AWS etc.
