Special Education Teacher

**Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Development**: Collaborate with other educators, parents, and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities.
- **Instructional Planning**: Develop and implement instructional strategies and accommodations to address the diverse learning styles and needs of students with disabilities. Modify curriculum materials and assessments as necessary to ensure accessibility and meaningful participation.
- **Differentiated Instruction**: Adapt teaching methods, materials, and assessments to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities, including those with learning disabilities, developmental delays, autism spectrum disorders, and other challenges.
- **Assessment and Progress Monitoring**: Conduct ongoing assessment and progress monitoring to evaluate student learning and development. Use data to inform instructional decisions and adjust teaching strategies as needed to support student growth.
- **Behavior Management**: Implement behavior management strategies and interventions to support students with behavioral challenges. Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes social-emotional development and positive behavior.
- **Collaboration and Communication**: Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, administrators, and parents to coordinate services and ensure the effective inclusion of students with disabilities in the general education setting. Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on strategies for support at home.
- **Adaptive Technology**: Integrate assistive technology and adaptive equipment into instruction to support students with disabilities in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
- **Transition Planning**: Collaborate with students, families, and transition specialists to develop transition plans that support students' post-secondary goals and prepare them for life after high school, including further education, employment, and independent living.
- **Professional Development**: Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current on best practices in special education, evidence-based interventions, and assistive technology.
- **Legal Compliance**: Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations governing special education, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
- **Crisis Intervention**: Provide support and intervention during crisis situations, including behavioral or emotional crises, and collaborate with school counselors, psychologists, and other professionals to address students' needs.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
