Draftma

A draftsman, also known as a draughtsman, drafting technician, or CAD technician, creates technical drawings and sketches for buildings, machines, and other projects:

- **Responsibilities**Draftsmen use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings that include specifications for projects. They work with architects, engineers, and construction managers to ensure plans are accurate and feasible. Their work includes developing floor plans, elevation drawings, and cross-sections.
- **Skills**Draftsmen should be creative, detail-oriented, have good interpersonal skills, math skills, technical skills, and time-management skills.
- **Career opportunities**Draftsmen can work in a variety of fields, including construction, architecture, engineering, and manufacturing. They can work as freelancers, full-time employees, or start their own design and drafting firms.
