Osd Erection Foreman

L&T is looking for an erection foreman, who is having an experience of 15-20 years in handling heavy lifts using crane or strand jacks, etc. He should have independently handled rigging / slinging activities and involved in lifting /erection/alignment of complex heavy structural components at a height. Experience in installation of heavy lift components in 3-4 major projects is required. Experience in installation of steel bridge construction / jacking / launching activities is added advantage.

The responsibilities to include but not limited to
- Responsible for leading a team of 10-15 riggers for the installation of Orthotropic Steel Deck (OSD) spans at installation location in line with Project Milestones.
- Responsible for safety of workmen enforcing safety measures and also carrying out standard operating procedures as per L&T’s policy.
- The work is to be done as per the instruction of the engineer in-charge and workmanship should be meeting the quality standards.
