**We can offer you the following tasks**:

- Unload-unpack components received followed by necessary cleaning and set up of rotors/component on turning machine.
- Refer drawing for machining activity and design necessary fixture if required for carry out the machining. Design / Manufacture of small parts
- Jigs and Fixtures, adapters, sleeves
- Define sequence of operations and Carry out turning operation to achieve required result as drawing requirements.
- Installing and aligning Rotor on the Lathe machine
- Installing and Aligning Stator part on the Vertical turret Lathe Machine
- Knowledge about Lathe Operation, usage of correct Tools, special Jigs and Fixtures
- Measurement of required dimensions especially diameters using large size (5 to 300 mm) micrometers to 0.005 mm accuracy and prepare report.
- Machining of Sealing strips on Lathe Machine
- Probe Track area Burnishing on Lathe Machine
- General machining on Rotor - journal areas, Thrust collar, Interstage areas, Blade tips, Shrouds etc
- Grinding on Rotor journals using grinding attachment on Lathe.
- Installing and aligning Stator part on the Horizontal Boring Machine.
- Carrying out drilling and boring operations on Horizontal Boring machine using correct Boring Bars / Tools/Special Jigs and fixtures
- Carrying out various machining operations on general purpose Milling machine
- Carrying out various grinding operations on general purpose Surface Grinding machine
- Carrying out various drilling operations on general purpose Radial Drilling machine
- Ability to decide on cutting speed and machine speeds depending on the material being cut and tool being used.
- Preventive maintenance / Troubleshooting. Maintain lathe machines. Maintain work area.
- Supervise and plan sequence of machining activities in case job is outsourced.
- Firsthand experience in turning operation of precision components using CNC and conventional Lathe machine for steam turbine and compressor rotors.
- Dimension measurement using micrometers, bore gauge.
- Shall able to understand machining drawing thoroughly including dimension tolerances, surface finish requirement and GD&T.
- Should be able to handle heavy duty lathe machine.
- Should be able to independently operate lathe machine and take decision
- Hands on experience all major instruments like bigger size micrometre and bore gauge.
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance.
- Should be follow and aware regarding all safety rules and regulation.
